Lake Lodge is a cosy hostel in typical Swiss chalet style, located right on the shore of the romantic bay of Iseltwald, an untouched village that has maintained its original traditions.

The idyllic fishing village on the southern bank has been able to preserve its originality and tranquillity, yet Interlaken is just ten minutes away by car, and is home to a range of tourist activities and shops. There is an hourly bus to Interlaken with excellent train connections to all over the world, as well as to the airports of Zurich, Basel and Geneva.

Our hostel is at the heart of the Bernese Oberland, surrounded by mountains and on the edge of the lake. From your room, you have a breathtaking view of Lake Brienz or of our garden, stretching up to the highest mountain peaks.
