Boat trips on Lake Brienz

Relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the lake with a stop at the Grandhotel Giessbach. For those who like it a little faster, there is the option of booking an exciting ride in a jet boat: you will race across Lake Brienz at high speed and experience an adrenaline kick on the water as the breathtaking landscape passes you by.

Culture

In summer, you can discover the region's cultural treasures. One highlight is the Ballenberg open-air museum, which offers a fascinating insight into life in times gone by with over 100 historic buildings and fascinating exhibitions. The charming historic centre of Brienz, known for its artistic woodcarving, is also worth a visit. Another highlight is the Sherlock Holmes trail in Meiringen, which brings to life the story of the famous detective and his nemesis, Professor Moriarty, and takes you to the Reichenbach Falls. And don't forget to visit the Trümmelbach Falls in Lauterbrunnen, where nature and culture come together in an impressive way.
